ABOUT

Our Mission

Zechariah 14:7: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

It is the mission of the PEI Fellowship Church to preach the Message of the Hour to a world that is in great need of a Saviour. We believe that before the end of the world, and the Rapture, that Christ would send the world a final Message of hope that will light the path back to Him. His Message was given in this hour to “preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God”  as Isaiah 61 states. Our mission is not for you to join yet another church or denomination, but to show you Christ as He truly is: your only help in a very dark world.

Our Story

Our story began in 2021 when Bro. Edmond moved from Saskatchewan to Prince Edward Island with a desire to start a Message church. At the time, there were no Message churches on the Island. With this burden on his heart, Bro. Edmond and his family, including his son and his family, relocated to PEI with the shared goal of establishing a place of worship. The first services were held in Bro. Edmond’s home. As time went on, they learned that there were other believers across the Island also seeking fellowship. After about a year, the group began renting a hall to accommodate the growing number of people attending services.

Since then, more believers have continued to join. The church has grown steadily and remains committed to providing a place for believers to gather and worship, according to the Message of the Hour. Bro. Edmond continues his work as a farmer in PEI while also helping support the church. We are thankful for how the Lord has provided and made a way for believers to come together here on the Island.

OUR PASTOR

Bro. Edmond Haegman has served as pastor since the church began in 2021. Born in Switzerland, he moved to Canada with his family in 1976. While settling in Quebec, his family was introduced to the Message, and his mother was baptized in 1977. He grew up attending church and continued faithfully in the Word. He married in 1992 and moved to Manitoba in 1999 to farm. During that time, he faced significant trials, including the loss of his son in a farm accident and a cancer diagnosis. Despite the difficulties, the Lord brought healing to his body, and over time, his family was restored.

In 2002, the family moved to Saskatchewan, where they attended Bro. Paul Derkson’s church in Prince Albert for 20 years. In 2015, during prayer, Bro. Edmond felt a burden for India. The next day, he received an unexpected call inviting him to help with missionary work. He and his wife began traveling regularly, serving among lepers, orphans, and local believers until the pandemic. While praying during COVID-19, PEI came to his heart. After selling his farm, he and his family moved by faith to the Island to start a church. He continues to serve the believers and work the land.

OUR MESSAGE

Malachi 4:5-6: Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

As John the Baptist was prophesied in Malachi 3 to forerun Christ’s first coming, Malachi 4 prophesied another prophet would forerun Christ’s second coming. This passage of Scripture foretells that this prophet or messenger would restore the faith of God’s people back to the full Word of God that was preached by the Apostolic fathers in the Book of Acts.

The Message that this prophet would bring would not be a new radical doctrine. This Message would simply point the church back to the full Word, to bring them back to the original faith of the first church, and to get them into Rapture-ready condition. The Message brought clarity to the truth of the Godhead, water baptism, the original sin, election and predestination, who the Bride of Christ is, the mystery of His second coming and the Rapture. We believe that prophet to be William Branham. His ministry was vindicated by God through supernatural signs and wonders, his emphasis on a personal relationship with Christ, and his total adherence to the Bible as the only absolute. Today, the five-fold ministry carries on this end-time Message with the belief that we will see Malachi 4:6 fulfilled in our lifetime.

Mission Work In India

Bro. Edmond began his mission work in India in 2015. On his first trip, he spent several weeks supporting orphans by helping provide beds, clothing, and food. He also worked among lepers, assisting with basic needs such as rice and oil. As the trip continued, he was invited to preach in various churches across villages, going from one congregation to another.

In subsequent trips, he was invited to speak at pastor meetings and later to denominational churches, where he presented the Message. In many of these places, he shared Deep Calleth to the Deep, a message on film that many people had never seen before. Over the years, the focus of each trip remained consistent: to support the spread of the Word and encourage believers across different regions.

Each mission included the distribution of thousands of Bibles and Message books. In some years, Bro. Edmond and his team brought USB drives and HD players loaded with the Message, making it easier for people to access and share the material. During these trips, they also prayed for hundreds of people, trusting the Lord to meet spiritual and physical needs wherever they went.
